Please Read Our Waiver and Policy Carefully Before Proceeding to Book:

  • Online reservations take priority! Walk-in will only be available when reservations aren't full.

  • Walk-in customers will not be guaranteed spots and tables

  • Cat room holds maximum 15 People only at Downtown Toronto location, 10 People only at North York Location!!!​

  • Please refer to the confirmation email for your booking information! We will refer solely based on the confirmation email for booking details. If you did not receive a confirmation, please check your SPAM AND JUNK mailbox! The confirmations are sent automatically to the email you registered with. If there is no confirmation, please give us a call or email. 

  • The customer is fully responsible for the reservations! We will NOT be responsible for any mistakes if the reservation times are wrong.

  • We have 3 combo options: ​

    1. Premium plan:$44.99 (1.5 hours for cat room and cafe, includes one drink, one dessert and mystery gift (Downtown Location Only) 

    2. Pro Plan: $36.99 (1.5 hours for cat room and cafe, includes one drink and mystery gift (Downtown Location Only)

    3. Basic Plan: $29.99 (1.5 hours for the cat room and cafe, includes one free ice cream) 

  • Please note: one plan is not for one group - it is for one participant! If there are multiple participants attending, please book for the same number of plans. 

  • For walk-in customers, the available spots are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!! We do not guarantee or hold spots for walk-ins. The only way to secure your spot is through booking a reservation.

  • A time limit of 90 minutes is granted per reservation (cat room + cafe). You may be asked to leave after your time is up if needed to make room for the next reservations.

  • PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES EARLY TO YOUR RESERVATION! Due to the limit in capacity, you may not be granted a table until your reservation time starts

  • You can spend more time in the customer area when we have additional space available.

  • Appointments begin ON THE HOUR !!!!! If you are over 30 minutes late without prior notice, your spots may be given to walk-in customers. If you are running late, please give us a call with your ETA so we can hold your spots for you. 

  • Please be on time! No extra time will be allotted should you be late. 

  • Last call for drinks, desserts, and ice cream is 30 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSE. For example, if you had booked the 9:30pm time slot and arrive after 10PM without prior notice, you may not be able to retrieve your complementary drink/ice cream. 

  •  Any modifications to an apportionment MUST be made on the Lazy Cat Cafe website, 24 hours in advance. No changes can be made later.

  • Children ≤ 12 years of age should be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian over 18 for entry into the cat room.

  • ​All of our cats are vaccinated up to date!​

IMPORTANT: If you are accompanying a special needs client, you also need to purchase a ticket for yourself due to the limitation of participants in the cat room.

  • "If your organization charges for admission, such as a movie theatre, it must be provided advanced notice of what admission fee or fare, if any, will be charged for a support person, for example, through a prominently placed sign or a notice on your website."

  • Our cafe charges admission for EVERY participant, there are no exemptions for special care workers.​​​

Adoption Process

*If you wish to see the cat before submitting an application, please book a reservation on our website. We do not grant free visits for adoption!

1. Submit your application on our website

2. Allow 5-7 business days for us to review your application.

3. We will reach out if your application is approved, and send you the adoption agreement contract and payment details (if there is an adoption fee).

Please note: if your application is approved, you must respond WITHIN 24 HOURS. If we do not receive your reply after 24 hours, your application will be automatically forfeited and the cat will be given to the next available family. Please understand that if we are "ghosted", we have the right to deny any and all of your future applications - adopting a cat should be a carefully thought out decision, not an "impulse purchase". We sincerely ask that you are making a responsible decision in bringing home a new family member.

Refund and Reschedule Policy 

1. Refund Policy:

We understand that circumstances might change, and we value your time and commitment. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Refunds for prepaid appointments will be provided under the following Conditions:

  • Full Refund: A full refund will be issued if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Please email us to initiate the refund process - canceling by yourself on the website does not prompt the refund automatically!

  • Please provide your name, email, order number, and reservation date and time to facilitate the refund process!

  • No Refund:

    • No refund will be issued for rescheduling requests made WITHIN 24 hours notice.

    • No refund will be issued for cancellations made after the scheduled appointment time has passed, regardless of the circumstances.


​2. Rescheduling Policy:​

  • We understand that unforeseen events can occur, making it necessary to reschedule appointments. To facilitate this process, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Advance Notice: To reschedule an appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time. This allows us to accommodate your request and adjust our schedule accordingly. We are unable to reschedule within 24 hours notice.

  • Scheduling requests made WITHIN 24 hours of your reservation time will be treated as a CANCELLATION WITHOUT A REFUND!!

  • Rescheduling Limits: Clients are allowed to reschedule their appointments up to one time only. Any rescheduling after the first request will be treated as a cancellation and you will not be refunded.

3. How to Request a Refund or Reschedule:
To request a refund or reschedule an appointment, please contact our customer support team via email a info@lazycatcafe.ca. Please provide your name, appointment details, and a brief reason for your request. We will process your request in a timely manner.

Note: This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Please review the policy periodically for any updates.

IMPORTANT: if your or your party's behavior disrupts the order of our store, especially inside the cat room, including but not limited to:

  • Causing noise and/or distress to the cats and/or other customers

  • Disregarding rules implemented by our staff

  • Forcefully holding/touching/cornering cats against their will

  • Disrespecting items and property, purposefully damaging cat toys

  • Touching or playing with the cats' water bowl and food bowl

  • Feeding the cats outside food or snacks

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE ROOM. Please work with us in providing a peaceful and friendly environment for all of the cats and guests!

​Adult Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement

​

  1. Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. While the original fee remains non-refundable, we will do our best to accommodate a new reservation date based on our availability.

  2. Late Arrivals: Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may risk losing their reservation. We suggest arriving a few minutes earlier to ensure a smooth experience.

  3. Special Requirements: If you have any dietary restrictions, accessibility requirements, or other specific needs, please let us know in advance. We aim to make every guest's experience enjoyable.

  4. Etiquette: Our café is home to several furry friends. Please treat them with kindness and respect. Any disruptive or harmful behavior may result in your party being asked to leave without a refund.

  5. Children: Children are welcome at Lazy Cat Café. However, they must be supervised at all times to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests and our feline residents.
    *Please note, that minors ≤ 12 years of age must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian.

I hereby certify that I am over eighteen (12) years of age, and I am competent and of sound mind at the time of the execution of this Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter “Release”) and agree to the following: LAZY CAT CAFE has available certain cats and/or kittens to be played with by customers at the establishment and agrees to allow me to play with same in consideration of both the payment of the fees for same and my execution of this Release and agreeing to be bound by its terms. I acknowledge that playing with cats and/or kittens may not be supervised, and LAZY CAT CAFE staff will not be with me the entire time I am in contact with the cats and/or kittens, but LAZY CAT CAFE staff will remain on the premises to monitor the activity of all current participants, offer guidance and encouragement, and be available to assist in the event of participant difficulty. I agree not to engage in any activity that will injure or otherwise hurt the cats and/or kittens in any manner.

I am aware of and fully understand the inherent dangers and assume all the risks involved in playing with cats and/or kittens, including the risk of death and/or personal injury or damage to myself, other persons, my property, and/or the property of others while participating in such activities or having my property at the site of such activities. I further acknowledge that participants in such activities and other person(s) involved in these activities may not be covered under the insurance of LAZY CAT CAFE and that customers of LAZY CAT CAFE may not have any right to file a claim against LAZY CAT CAFE insurance policy. I freely and voluntarily execute this Release with such knowledge and assume full and sole responsibility for the risk of death, personal injury, and/or property loss arising from or in any way connected with my participation in the activities provided by the LAZY CAT CAFE.

I agree to abide by all rules and regulations that LAZY CAT CAFE may impose regarding the cats and/or kittens. I agree to follow all rules and to undertake all activities in a responsible manner. IF I AM UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO FOLLOW ANY RULES, LAZY CAT CAFE WILL TERMINATE MY CONTINUATION OF SUCH ACTIVITIES, AND I WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND OF OUR FEES.

I have no physical, mental, or emotional issue(s), including, but not limited to, any allergies, that would adversely affect my ability to play with the cats and/or kittens in a safe and appropriate manner.

I hereby release and forever discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify LAZY CAT CAFE, their respective agents, owners, employees, rescue partners, and independent contractors, and their respective sureties, insurers, successors, assigns, and legal representatives, from any liability, claim, cause of action, demand and damages for injury, death or damages of any kind or nature whatsoever to myself or my property as a result of my engaging in any activities at LAZY CAT CAFE, including, but not limited to, playing with the cats and/or kittens, whether such injury, death, or property damage is caused by the intentional or negligent act or omission on the part of (i) any other customer of LAZY CAT CAFE, (ii) any employee, agent, owners, rescue partners, or independent contractor of the LAZY CAT CAFE, or (iii) any other person at LAZY CAT CAFE. Furthermore, I agree to pay any and all attorney's fees and costs of the LAZY CAT CAFE, and any of their respective agents, employees, owners, rescue partners, and independent contractors if I bring any action, claim, or demand against the LAZY CAT CAFE, or any of their respective agents, employees, owners, rescue partners, and independent contractors for any reason for which this Release applies.

I agree to defend with counsel chosen by the indemnified party, indemnify, and hold harmless LAZY CAT CAFE, their respective agents, employees, owners, rescue partners, and independent contractors, their sureties, insurers, successors, assigns, and legal representative from any liability, claim, cause of action, demand or damages for injury, death or damages of any kind or nature whatsoever to any person or their property resulting from any actual or claimed intentional or wrongful act or omission by myself arising from or as a result of my presence at LAZY CAT CAFE or my participation in any activities at LAZY CAT CAFE. I agree to provide said defense and indemnity regardless of the merit of the claim.

I agree to and hereby bind my heirs, executors, assigns, and all other legal representatives by executing this Release.

I hereby acknowledge and agree that this Release is intended to be construed and interpreted as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the ON. Toronto. If any portion of this Release is found or declared to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the remainder of this Release not found to be invalid and the remainder of this Release shall remain in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the ON. Toronto (without regard to the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law, and without regard to the jurisdiction in which any action or special proceedings may be instituted), as to all matters, including but not limited to matters of jurisdiction, validity, property rights, construction, effect, and performance. All disputes shall be subject to litigation only within the courts of ON. Toronto.

BY EXECUTING THIS RELEASE, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE, UNDERSTAND THE CONTENTS HEREOF, HAVE BEEN ADVISED AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEEK INDEPENDENT COUNSEL OF MY CHOICE AND CERTIFY THAT I HAVE FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY EXECUTED THIS RELEASE. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, BUT FOR THE EXECUTION OF THIS RELEASE AND AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS HEREOF, LAZY CAT CAFE WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE ME TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITIES AT LAZY CAT CAFE.

Minor Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement

​

I am the parent/legal guardian of the minor. I hereby certify that I am ≤ twelve (12) years of age, and I am competent and of sound mind at the time of the execution of this Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter “Release”) and agree to the following:
LAZY CAT CAFE has available certain cats and other live animals to be played with by customers at the establishment and agrees to allow the Minor to play with same in consideration of both the payment of the fees for same and my execution of this Release and agreeing to be bound by its terms. I, on behalf of the Minor, acknowledge that playing with cats and/or kittens may not be supervised, and LAZY CAT CAFE  staff will not be with the Minor the entire time the Minor is in contact with the cats and/or kittens, but LAZY CAT CAFE  staff will remain on the premises to monitor the activity of all current participants, offer guidance and encouragement, and be available to assist in the event of participant difficulty. The Minor will not engage in any activity that will injure or otherwise hurt the cats and/or kittens in any manner.

I am aware of and fully understand the inherent dangers involved in playing with cats and other live animals, including the risk of death and/or personal injury or damage to the Minor, other persons, the Minor’s or my property, and/or the property of others while participating in such activities or having my property at the site of such activities. I further acknowledge, on behalf of the Minor, that participants in such activities and other person involved in these activities may not be covered under insurance of LZY CAT CAFE  and that customers of LAZY CAT CAFE may not have any right to file a claim against LAZY CAT CAFE  insurance policy.  On behalf of the Minor, I freely and voluntarily execute this Release with such knowledge, and assume full and sole responsibility for the risk of death, personal injury and/or property loss arising from or in any way connected with the Minor’s participation in the activities provided by the LAZY CAT CAFE .

I, on behalf of the Minor, agree to abide by all rules and regulations that LAZY CAT CAFE  may impose
regarding the cats and other live animals. I, on behalf of the minor, agree to follow all rules and to undertake all activities in a responsible manner. IF I OR THE MINOR AM/ARE UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO FOLLOW ANY RULES,LAZY  CAT CAFE  WILL TERMINATE MY OR THE MINOR’S CONTINUATION OF SUCH ACTIVITIES, AND WE WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND OF OUR FEES.

I, on behalf of the Minor, understand that LAZY CAT CAFE  reserves and possess the right to remove minor/s off premises at any given time for any given reason.

I, on behalf of the Minor, hereby release and forever discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify LAZY CAT CAFE , their respective agents, owners, rescue partners, employees, and independent contractors, and their respective sureties, insurers, successors, assigns, and legal representatives, from any liability, claim, cause of action, demand and damages for injury, death or damages of any kind or nature whatsoever to the Minor or the Minor’s property as a result of the Minor’s engaging in any activities at LAZY CAT CAFE , including, but not limited to, playing with the cats and other live animals, whether such injury, death, or property damage is caused by the intentional or negligent act or omission on the part of (i) any other customer of LAZY CAT CAFE , (ii) any employee, agent, owners, or independent contractor of the LAZY CAT CAFE , or (iii) any other person at LAZY CAT CAFE . Furthermore, on behalf of the Minor, I agree to pay any and all attorney's fees and costs of the LAZY CAT CAFE , and any of their respective agents, employees, owners, and independent contractors if I or the Minor bring any action, claim, or demand against the LAZY CAT CAFE , or any of their respective agents, employees , owners, rescue partners, and independent contractors for any reason for which this Release applies.

I, on behalf of the Minor, agree to defend with counsel chosen by the indemnified party, indemnify, and hold harmless LAZY CAT CAFE , their respective agents, employees, owners, rescue partners, and independent contractors, their sureties, insurers, successors, assigns, and legal representatives from any liability, claim, cause of action, demand or damages for injury, death or damages of any kind or nature whatsoever to any person or their property resulting from any actual or claimed intentional or wrongful act or omission by the Minor arising from or as a result of the Minor’s presence at LAZY CAT CAFE  or the Minor’s participation in any activities at LAZY CAT CAFE

I, on behalf of the Minor, agree to provide said defense and indemnity regardless of the merit of the claim.

I, on behalf of the Minor, agree to and hereby bind our respective heirs, executors, assigns and all other legal representatives by executing this Release.

​

I, on behalf of the Minor, hereby acknowledge and agree that this Release is intended to be construed and interpreted as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the ON. Toronto . If any portion of this Release is found or declared to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the remainder of this Release not found to be invalid and the remainder of this Release shall remain in full force and effect.  This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the ON. Toronto (without regard to the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law, and without regard to the jurisdiction in which any action or special proceedings may be instituted), as to all matters, including but not limited to matters of jurisdiction, validity, property rights, construction , effect and
performance. All disputes shall be subject to litigation only within the courts of ON.Toronto.

BY EXECUTING THIS RELEASE, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I, ON BEHALF OF THE MINOR, HAVE READ THIS RELEASE, UNDERSTAND THE CONTENTS HEREOF, HAVE BEEN ADVISED AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEEK INDEPENDENT COUNSEL OF MY CHOICE AND CERTIFY THAT I HAVE FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY EXECUTED THIS RELEASE, ON BEHALF OF THE MINOR. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO SIGN THIS RELEASE ON BEHALF OF THE MINOR. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE, ON BEHALF OF THE MINOR, BUT FOR THE EXECUTION OF THIS RELEASE AND AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS HEREOF, LAZY CAT CAFE WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE THE MINOR FOR WHICH I SIGN THIS RELEASE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITIES AT LAZY CAT CAFE
